How do I cancel a hosting plan or domain name?

To cancel any service with us, simply contact us using the support desk (https://support.liquidsix.com) to request it. You will need to include the account username and password so that we can identify you and process the cancellation for you.

If you only wish to cancel a domain registration, this can be done through the control panel by clicking on "LiquidSix Domain Registrations", then on the domain name in question, and then "Cancel Domain".

You can transfer a domain away at any time, there is no charge for doing so.

Your new registrar will normally start this process, they will ask you to either provide details or perform actions for the transfer process. When they do, you can contact us for assistance, and we will either provide the necessary details or perform the necessary actions after going through the appropriate security checks with you.

You can order a domain name transfer from within our hosting control panel (HELM). For most domain names, you simply enter the domain you wish to transfer, along with any other requested data, and we can start the process. Your current host will then confirm or deny the request.

If you wish to transfer a .uk domain (this includes .co.uk, .org.uk, .me.uk, .ltd.uk and .plc.uk) you will need to transfer the domain name to our IPS Tag which is "PWNEWMEDIA" after requesting it from Helm.

We can easily update any information regarding your domain name, which includes:

E-Mail Address (used for transfer requests etc)

Postal Address & Country

Name & Company Name (Please note that there are rules about changing the owner of .uk domain names - please contact support for more details)

Any domain extension can be hosted as LiquidSix, as long as the nameserver addresses can be pointed to our nameservers (this has to be arranged with your current registrar). To order a domain, use the "Domain Registrations" screen from your Helm control panel home page. If you do not have a hosting account with us, you can setup an empty account in Helm simply for using the domain registration system. To do this go to http://www.liquidsix.com/domains/signup

You do! Unlike some providers, we do not register domains in our name, making them impossible to transfer away. We register domains directly to you, meaning you are free to transfer them anywhere you wish, and at any time. We believe that if you pay for something, it should be yours, and you should be able to do whatever you wish with it!
