500 Internal Server Error

If you are receiving a generic 500 error and you are unsure what to do, please go to the "Website Settings" page for the domain in the control panel. Here you can enable "Detailed Error Messages" (we recommend it is only enabled when needed and not left on permanently). In the majority of cases, this will change the 500 error to be a more detailed useful error message. If it does not, the most likely source of the error is an issue with the contents of the web.config file.
