How can I delete all spam?

Our spam filter will recognise incoming spam and mark it with special tags (for most customers this is [SPAM]), it will not by default delete the emails though. This is because no spam filter is 100% correct, and we do not want to delete email which customers may need.

If you do wish to delete all spam tagged email (not recommended for business customers because you may loose business from missing an email) you can setup a rule to do this by logging into SmarterMail ( and clicking on "Settings" -> "My Content Filtering". Click on Add New Filter and follow through the wizard telling it to delete all email for which the subject begins "[SPAM]" (no quotes).
